She's back. Her flight arrived in KLIA at 3:35pm. She was with housemate, who came back ... for I don't know how many times over the past one year. They appeared at international arrival meet up area at around 4:30pm. An hour 'delayed'. She looked calm and composed. Well, I did not expect the opposite from her. Her book editors met her up first before we (Elle, her sister and myself, with Nisaa' and Ali, too) got to embrace her for the first time in 2 years and 4 months. Her red eyes watered when she hugged Elle, but that's was all. She said she's saving her tears for her mother. She wanted to pour every single drops on her mom's shoulder.
She had declared that the first thing she wanted to do was to eat at the red and yellow clown restaurant. Yeahhh ... the one thing she cannot consume while in Glasgow :P. The one she has not been eating for the past 2 years and 4 months! The one with the black pepper sauce that cost almost RM20! The one, which was supposed to be boycotted! :P
Well, she got what she wished for. I know that while she's here she will hunt down all fast food outlets to satisfy her crave for western HALAL burgers and fried chicken ala Malaya. hahahhaa
Now, she's back home. Safely in the arms of her beloved mother, in Melaka. Crying her heart out, for sure.
As for me ... I'm happy she's finally home ... though only for a while as she's leaving for the Queen's Land on the 2nd of February ... but for now ... she's home.
Nota kecik-kenot:
Kepada semua yang berkirim salam tu ... salam kalian sudah disampaikan tadi. Maaf tiada gambar sebab tertinggal kamera di rumah.
